Product DescriptionBehold the Tuskegee Airmen-men of bravery and resilience! Taken in March of 1945, in Ramitelli, Italy, three African American pilots display their enthusiastic fight for equality and anti-discrimination in this vintage photo. When the War Department set up a rigid testing system to prevent Black citizens from applying, the Tuskegee Institute allowed more than enough men to qualify for the Air Force, in turn increasing the amount of African American men serving during WWII. Their exuberant faces light up the picture, showing the world what is possible for those who fight for what is right.Product Features* 16x20 Photograph* Other Sizes May Be Available * Watermark Only Appears on Sample Pictures - Watermark Will Not Appear on Purchased Prints |
